Israel Killed 487 Children in 2014 Gaza War

  Palestinians have asked the International Criminal Court to speed up the 2014 Gaza war crimes investigation. The appeal comes after the Israeli army closed seven cases related to killing civilians in the 2014 Gaza conflict. The Palestinian Authority says the probe into the war requires more vigorous action. Secretary General for the Palestine Liberation Organization, Saeb Erekat, says the cases that were closed involved Israel’s bombardment of civilian areas, including U-N buildings, shelters, hospitals and other structures protected by the Geneva Convention. According to Erekat, in the 50-day Israeli war on the Gaza Strip four hundred eighty seven children were killed.
