I love the shading and detail you went through in colouring this design. It look like a very ornate and precious time piece. The shading in the frame adds depth and light to the image, making it appear golden. I really like the textures you used, the dark speckled one in the sand and the yellow and white swirls in the glass. I also like the clever idea of having the design repeated faintly in the background too!
