Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and good night to you, wherever you are 👋🙃.
It is all about the || The Soul Portal || this week and this is my rendition of the @magiccleatus' Zen Colouring Contest #33 - || The Soul Portal ||.
I pencil coloured the stencil, following the theme this week which was Shades of Green, added a little dash of orange, yellow and blue hues. There is quite a number of elements to colour on this stencil and it was not that easy, I have to admit. I tried to make the Soul Portal look as though it is spinning, like a record. When I think about soul, I think about soul music. Music that moves your soul 🎵🎼🎹❤.
I have said this before and please allow me to say it again... Zen Colouring is really a calming activity, turning your heart rate down a notch, clearing your mind, bringing your focus to adding colours as to how you want to see it and just staying zen 🙏🧘♀️. I hope you will join me in the next one 🙂.

Thanks for the beautiful words you said about the soul, colouring and this contest! I love the detail in the pencil shading, the subtle gradients of colour works really well with the texture that pencil colouring creates. The placement and use of blues, oranges and yellows in the smaller detailed sections accentuates the design and creates a uniqueness among the repeating pattern. The spinning effects are a very nice touch and ties in with your thoughts about 'Soul'!
