Greetings Steemians, here’s my entry for this weeks “Zen Colouring Contest #33 - Theme : The Soul Portal.”
I also believe that the eyes 👁 are a portal to the soul in a sense. I noticed the many, many eyes I could see in this stencil as I was coloring it. @magiccleatus thank you for explaining how you came up with this idea, it was very interesting to read about. So my first thought was to draw an eyeball out of the stencil, it seemed fitting, but who’s eyeball ? Since the pallet of the week was green, I thought why not a green frog, the color scheme was right, so here it is, my husband Rick says it looks like a mutant frog 🐸 HAHA❣️Blessings everyone and thanks

Fantastic! That looks one wise and enlightened green frog. I love that you used light/pastel colours to colour the stencil. The pale shading of yellows and greens work really well to emphasize the dark, more solid colours, in the smaller shapes. I also like that the center of the portal is ripples of yellow and green with a black and white checkerboard twisting into the very middle!
