RE: 4our More Imminent And Alarming Signs That Something's Gone Wild In The US of A

in #zeitgeist7 years ago

There is some good reason why Thomas A. Jefferson's portrait is hanging in Donald Trump's Oval Office! I like Jefferson's stance - "Me or the banks!" and he had the strength and the will to kick them out.

In my opinion liberalism in its origin meaning - as I understand it - has nothing more in common with liberalism practiced by the US Left right now.
Many ideas are not the same now as they were back then; it's like watching them hidden behind frosted glass.

And because we all know history's repeating, and in recognition of Abraham Lincoln's and JFK's lives no one should put Julius Caesar and the incumbent president of the Unsited States into context!

Appreciated your thoughts on that topic... - Thnx and Cheers!

Andrew Jackson's portrait hang's in Trump's Oval Office, fyi.
And Jackson's: "I killed the Bank!" was more resounding.
Was the only dude to ever liquidate the national debt.
And he beat his would-be assassin with his cane.

Southern Gentleman Good Old Hickory! War Hero

But you are right, Jefferson definitely had a particular view
with regards to banks. His thoughts. Not kind to banks.

JFK/RFK: Was our last great Hope.

And I opine that definitions do not change, but correct word
usage has devolved to the point of ridiculousness in this
Over-Medicated nation of the politically correct.

And a good day to you!

PS: Lincoln deserved it (for other reasons) while
Jack Kennedy was actually trying to free this nation of
fractional reserve lending controlled by the usurers,
the central banks counterfeiting by the usurers and
the largest drug smuggling/human trafficking/intelligence
cartel in history
