What is zClassic?

Zclassic is a fork of Zcash: (HeyRhett) decided to take another path by removing the 20% fee. Miners are simply earning their fair reward, we believe they deserve it, and the coin development can be supported by the community. ZCL also differs from ZEC by removing the slow start (source), we are not trying to deliberately engineer scarcity: The Market decides the price.
We are using the same parameters which were produced in the now famous secure "trusted setup meeting" (source) where Peter Todd participated, and he confirmed to us (source) they are safe to use. If just one of the participants kept their key secret and destroyed it, the whole system is secure.
Step 1
Download the zClassic Miner We'll use Zec Miner 0.3.4b for GPU mining.

Step 2
Download your wallet.
Windows - Linux - Paper wallets: https://zclassic.org/#getstarted
Step 3
Write down your private key + password and take note of your wallets address you'll need it later.
Step 4
Pick your mining pool.
we'll use: https://zclassic.miningpoolhub.com/ -You can pick any pool you like.
Step 5
Create account at mining pool hub : https://zclassic.miningpoolhub.com/
then create a new worker here : https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=account&action=hubworkers
step 6
Disable Auto Exchange Coin for zClassic this allows you to hold and make a payout in zClassic without auto exchange .
Step 7
Now that you have your miner software , your wallets address and you have picked your mining pool & setup your worker. Lets put it all together and setup your miner.
Unzip Zec Miner 0.3.4b and then run as admin (right click select run as admin) miner.exe and close it.
This will configure your miner settings for your card.

Locate the miningpoolhub.bat in the Zec Miner 0.3.4b folder and right click and select edit
Change the port it's wrong by default , change the User & Worker info to match what you created in step 5.
miner --server us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --user YOURUSER.YOURWORKER --pass x --port 20575
save and exit.

Double click (run) "miningpoolhub.bat" your miner should open up and start running.
