ZCash Wallet and Address: How To Create Your Transparent t-addr and Pivate z-addr ZEC
I got a lot of requests on where to get a ZCash address... In the video below I show you how to do it properly. I use a straight up Linux installation (Linux Mint with Cinnamon Desktop), you can use any Ubuntu/Debian Based installation that you want including but not limited to: Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Mint.
This wallet is very easy and straight forward to install. There is no need to be intimidated with the installation procedure... it is a bunch of copy paste enters and your pretty much done and will get your proper ZCash addresses.
Linux Ubuntu or Mint can be installed in about 5-10 minutes on most modern machines by using a self-created USB installer with the downloaded ISO. It installs faster than Windows and there is less clicking involved! There should be no reason to not install a ubuntu based linux distribution and get started with ZCash today!

Thanks for this. With the ZCash launch imminent I've been wondering how to get a wallet. I don't mind using Linux but for mass adoption I do hope they get a Windows GUI wallet out as soon as possible. Seems that's definitely something you would want to have at launch...
Makes sense to me as well.
Any idea how to do this on arch?
Very good post. I was about to start a similair discussion. The future is in blockchain. Cryptos are the new popular kid now, but the market will find it's way just like it did with the Internet boom. I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com Every single coin can be analysed here based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and much more. See: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Zcash#analysis For a complete Zcash Detailed analysis.
