Zappl has been since beta launch, zappl isn't yet a high earning app so development and hosting is paid with power downs. Beneficiary rewards get locked up in sp 100% so apps are required to power down to pay bills.

Currently apps are at a disadvantage when it comes to payment for posts. Everything is sp instead of a 50% split like people would get for curation, or on their post payment. So currently anything an app makes from posts it takes 13 weeks to power that down.
