37,018 New Members The Past Two Days!!!! Maybe The Sign Up Process Is Improving???
A couple weeks ago it was announced the development team was working on speeding up the sign up process. We had a big hit last week then the usual demise..now back to back big hits..will we see the trend go down? Big numbers for two days.
Now steemit is difficults

I created 5 new accounts for people at the Philly steem meetup yesterday...glad to have pushed the bar up slightly higher!
I should say that having these new all-time high on Daily Account Creation graph during bear market on overall crypto is really a good sign. People mostly lose interest in crypto during bear cycles, many take vacations, delete blockfolio apps from their mobile and start doing smth else. It means a lot for Steem that we are getting more new accounts created during these hard times.
This is pretty interesting. I really hope that the issues with the sign-up process has been fixed once and for all, and it would be amazing if we keep seeing these numbers each day from now on!
The numbers of new account creation is very good, but the size of people whose enter in the platform over the past few days is dropping... That is sad.
These are huge numbers and a high level of achievement compared to the past weeks that most people struggled hard before they could get verified. Steemit is gaining ground big time.
Thanks for the stats! From recent friends signing up, they said it still took them a few days, so maybe they were backlogged and got in with the next shuttle in? Regardless if it was a backlog or not, I think Steemit will continue to gain even bigger spikes down the road as more people find out about this platform and they tell more people and so on.
Let's hope 90% of these new users will stay active instead of the opposite 😩
At least that's my feeling right now, that 90% will become inactive sooner or later. Does anyone have numbers for prove or to show it's different?
