Introducing Daily Steem Lotto
Hi Everyone!!
Things have been tense around these parts lately, with Steemians complaining, including me, that it is so impossible to gain any visibility on the site without having LOTS of money to upvote yourself with.
SO....
Introducing DAILY STEEM LOTTO! My hope is lots of minnows will participate so we can ban together and pay out large amounts of Steem to each other through the lotto pool! This way we can help minnows gain more Steem and therefore more Steempower!
HOW TO PLAY:
Send a minimum of 1 Steem or 1 SBD to @summerskin. Each Steem/SBD will get you one entry into the lotto. Each Steemian can only send a MAXIMUM of 5 Steem/SBD a day to ensure no one is buying the pool.
I will put the names of all those that sent Steem/SBD into a random picker program (remember 5 entry maximum per person; any extra entries will go into the pot with no extra entries) and select a winner everyday 8pm PST and post the results by 9pm PST. Any entry that comes in after the 8pm cutoff will role over to the next day’s pot.
The winner will receive 80 PERCENT of the pot! 20 percent will go to my account to continue to market the game and play around on Steemit :) [EDITED] @erodedthoughts thinks it’s a bad look to keep 20 percent, SO, in order not to seem scammy I am changing it to the daily winner keeping 100 percent of the pot and I will grow this account from the upvotes I get.
So winner keeps 100 PERCENT of the pot! I hope this encourages people to participate!

Yeah, I also want to grow from a minnow... what’s wrong with that? I’m being upfront about it...
So why not create a quality post? Not a system where you profit with the illusion of a winner.
There is not an illusion of a winner. The winner would get 80 percent of the pot. The idea is for lots of minnows to win since they can win daily, so they can grow their account from a small amount of Steem to a larger amount of Steem.
So if the pot is 200 they get 160 and my account gets 40. Then I can power up even more and get more people to join the lotto... if I don’t raise money for my account my promotion of this game will be ineffective and pointless and the game will never take off.
Why is it bad that I want minnows to get large chunks of Steem?? What’s wrong with a win/win situation? What’s wrong with trying to have fun on this platform?
As far as quality content when I first started I tried to write/ connect with the community but frankly there are not many people here that are interested in my interests. Since beauty blogs, politics, and debating about social norms are not something people want to hear from me, as evidenced from my low payouts, I decided to try this to try to interact with the community in a different way, and bring value by cooridnating pots of money to give to minnows like me.
Can you tell me why it upsets you that I would take 20 percent? If you look at my wallet I’ve invested what I can into Steem and have never powered down and don’t intend to. I just want to raise money to create a more powerful account so I can upvote other minnows in a more effective way.

You could also give 100% of paid proceeds out to the winner and keep what you make from upvotes that would even go more with the narrative of growing others than what it is now.
