A Very Sombre Note Added to Remembrance Day

The man seated in this photo is one of two remaining WW2 veterans in my branch. He was taken to hospital with a stroke this morning that he took as he prepared to take the salute at our parade. Keep him in your thoughts please.

    he's a great man ... served as a motorcycle dispatcher rider in WW2.. came back and had a long life of serving his community. I was proud to have followed him as the Branch President in 1990 and in this picture to be presenting him with his 60 year service bar for his Legion Service.
