ZAPPL LIVE (FACEBOOK LIVE CHAT X GOOGLE HANGOUT)
FEATURE NAME: ZAPPL LIVE
FEATURE SUMMARY:
This feature allows a small group of individuals to record their chat in response to some content.
(Example) Bill, Ted, Neo, and Morpheus all want to watch the new trailer for Neo and Anderson's Excellent Adventure
One user starts Zappl live, another starts a group poll to view a set of trailers and Neo and Anderson's Excellent Adventure is chosen. As the trailer is loading, the four users are already chatting as Zappl Live records their responses (Facebook Live). As the video plays, viewers can choose to only display their chat (Google Hangout) or show their one time or continuous reaction to the trailer.
When the trailer is done and the chatting has died down, Zappl Live is closed and a link to the Zappl Live session shows up on the users' feed and the feeds of their friends/followers.
When a friend/follower clicks on the link, they see a replay of the chat and video that was watched. Users have the ability to watch the trailer, or switch to watch a particular user react to the trailer. The Zappl live doesn't go past five minutes.
FEATURE LIST:
- Records group zaps, photo, or video
- Allows for shared viewing of online content
- System posts a link for other users to watch in the feed of friends/followers.
- Zappl Live doesn't record longer than 5 minutes and shows a 1 minute countdown (not recorded) on every users' screen.
- Each Zappl Live gets a generic split of 50% of the upvote profits to the people participating. A separate vote from Zappl Live members and viewers occurs after the video that determines how the remaining 50% is distributed.
STRETCH FEATURES:
- Records video game highlights
- Allows each user to vote on their favorite clip. Zappl creates a 20-30 second trailer from the video votes.
- Any hash tags used allow the url of the Zappl live to show up in a hash tag search.
- Zappl Live shows up in all followers/friends events
- If a Zappl Live is scheduled, it shows up as an event that can receive a guest list and invites
- If a person wants to serialize the content from a Zappl Live, they can create a collection of Zappl Lives that play serially (Netflix) when one Zappl Live is done.
- A small video shows up on all friends/followers pages showing that a live event is happening.
I like Zappl Live as the feature name!

I like where this is going @rubenalexander .
It is one of those features where you could get people from around the world or even nearby to have an online party.
I hope it gets in Zappl.
They can Zappl hard together! I love it. Kind of like living and breathing 'lists' that Twitter had.
