I gave it a go but I don't really get it. It just seems like a reduced version of Steemit that posts to your feed anyway.
If you could hide the posts from Steemit so they were only visible to other zappl users then it would make sense.
Unless I'm missing something?
What you're describing in the second paragraph will probably happen eventually - right now steemit includes EVERYTHING and I agree that it is annoying.
Zappl has a lot of growing to do - but I think if it is able to improve over time like DTube has, it could become an eventual legitimate competitor to Twitter.
If not, no harm no foul basically - either way I'll be microblogging somewhere :-p
I have not tried it yet. I think, it would be nice if you can write your experience with each of those platforms. Newbies like me are still struggle to find out niche features of Steemit here and there, and would definitely appreciate some pointers.
I'll do my best to share the experience with you as I go - might not do a full zappl post for a little while. So far it seems cool!
what's the advantage of zapl?
I don't know if I would use the word "advantage," it's just something different. Its like Twitter, but on the Steem blockchain so you can earn some rewards.
by 'advantage'...I mean what is it about zappl that I should want to use IT, rather than Steemit considering that I sit behind my computer desk all day?
