Honestly, I would like to disagree because art in itself holds value as well. Beside the monetary value, it also holds cultural value. Without art, we would never know the culture our ancestors grew up with. Art gives us an idea of what the past was like and how it shaped us today.
Culture is made by people not by some piece of art if people wants to preserve there culture they don't need any art work for it. Just like tribal groups of africa do. And art is just a impression of mind of the painter on paper with colours
each person has his own thinking, hair may be black but the content inside is not necessarily the same
But it cannot change the reality
