Hate post vs Plagiarized post
Which do you think is more damaging in steemit? A post that hate and spreads hate or a post that has not cited sources? You decide.

Thanks Red :)
@cleverbot what do you think of hate post
Who?
Do you know haters?
L?
Who is L?
Okay can you just keep quite here.
Well you know what, I'll make you blush.
Hate and abuse. Citing sources is a PITA. Not citing sources is not the same as plagiarizing though. Copying an article is plagiarism, and likely copyright violation. You can copy a portion however, depending on the laws in your country, but you should cite it. It's the internet though, I'm not going to cite everything that I say. If someone doubts something I say, they can look it up themselves, and refute me. Often it's very difficult to cite a source that you read months or years before.
I totally agree with you.
I noticed less hate posts here on Steemit.
Perhaps, plagarizing contents would create a more damaging effect on Steemit than those hate posts. We are here to express our original thoughts, unless it is based on factual evidences which needed to be cited.
Maybe the reason there is less hate post here in steemit is because of the severity of the punishment if one is caught doing it. They might have been booted out of the community at the instant they are caught.
People aren't as hateful here because they are worried about repercussions. I think in both cases members of the community need to consider if they should downvote in that particular case.
I think a post that is blatantly plagiarised and does not cite sources.
A hate post is visible and easily identified and also... easily dealt with as a result. You may have noticed you dont see too many hate posts.
Plagiarism on the other hand and the use of material without citing sources is one of those things that removes rewards from good original content and insidiously damages Steemit's brand to the outside world and we dont want that
Thank you for your insightful comment. Yes indeed plagiarism is really prevalent in steemit nowadays good thing steemit has the tools to deal with those automatically. .
Oh if only it was automatic! Cheetah certainly is but as a scanner of certain tags for plagiarism I see a lot of it which is slightly clever to get around the cheetah checking!
I have been thinking about what you said. Serial plagiarists are clever enough to circumvent the detection why can't they use this aptitude to do original work.
It's a very good question. It comes down to human nature I suppose. In one of my old jobs that involved money some of the elaborate scams people would come up with made you think, why not put all that energy to good use?
Plagiarism & copyright violations on the internet as a whole are way more problematic! Here, people are afraid of getting downvotes. I think it's because we're all really working hard to try to make quality content that will be rewarded on the platform, and we don't want our hard work ruined.
The bots to find the plagiarism and copyright violations aren't perfect, but they're only going to get better.
I don't like hate in any shape or form.
Your post has Image Source: But no link :-)
