Captured - a Zapfic short story

It was a moment that was forever frozen.
Those somber eyes, the trickle of tears midstream.
I was captivated.
I couldn’t tear my eyes away from that glassy stare.
It was so beautiful, yet a reminder of what trauma she would have faced.
