My mother-in-law had a lovely collection of colorful aprons from the 1940s but I never saw her wear an apron, even when cooking her epic roast duckling holiday dinner. How did she do it...
Yes, and I'd walked down Main Street Nyack with it on before I settled myself on a bar stool at Maureen's Jazz Cellar, at which point I noticed my red and white striped apron.
I hope your "dearth" of photos does not include a lack of THIS photo.... classic!!!!
