100 year anniversary of the death L.L. Zamenhof alias Dr Esperanto

                                       

Today 100 years ago I died of a weak heart too early in Warsaw after a life of sorrow and hardship. From an early age I struggled to create a universal language as a medium of communication that would unite the world in a spirit of human brotherhood. The results of my dream and efforts became what is today known as ESPERANTO. In spite of that  the world still doesn't recognize its true value, I am pleased to see the beautiful fruits of my life work: a living international language, matured for a century and now spoken around the world. 

Kaj jen bildo de mi en tempo, kiam mi ankoraŭ estis en la lernejo kie mi tre ŝatis lerni lingvojn. Tiutempe la bazo de la nova lingvo universala jam estis preta. Kun kune miaj amikoj ni parolis kaj kantis per ĝi.
