Heat oil in a pan over gas and roast until onion turns golden and keep it aside.
Put 6 cups of water in a vessel and add 2 green cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, oil and salt and boil it on medium flame.
Then add the soaked rice in it and cook for 5-6 minutes after boiling. After this, filter the rice with sieve, keep in mind that rice is not fully cooked. Keep the water in the pot and do not stop the gas.
Now boil the gram dal in this water. Boil it so that the lentils are almost cooked.
Now put ghee in a pan and keep it on the gas to heat.
Then add black pepper, small and big cardamom, mint leaves, turmeric powder, cumin seeds and green and red chillies.

  • When it is golden brown, add salt, a little water and curd and cook for 2-3 minutes.
    Then add gram dal in the pan and cook until the gravy thickens.
    Then spread the boiled rice on it and cook for about 15 minutes.
  • Ready to collect Kabuli Biryani
    Garnish it with fried onion and mint leaves and serve it.
