Even if there are many similar letters with the Greek Alphabet , i still can't read as i can't mach them . It seems an interesting article though..
I'm fascinated how many details can be found in old newspapers.
It's possible to reconstruct very chaotic autumn 1915 when we fought on all fronts (about 900km long) and started our retreat to Greece with the resolution of 1 day and 10 km.
I knew it was tough but with all the details, I'm not sure how a single man survived
Old newspapers are treasures for sure . I just think that we should have in mind the propaganda through them as we are dealing with a war period. The sure thing is that soldiers of the old era were more tough as their life before the army was tough too.
They usually report the real situation... 1-2 weeks later, but with correct dates. Als, there are sources from Vienna, Sofian, Germany, so it's sort of cross-checked
If the sources are from different countries then the facts must be real for sure.
