How YouTubers Make MoneysteemCreated with Sketch.

Youtubers make money off inserted adds based off of the number of views. First you need over 10,000 views to unlock monetization of your videos. From there YouTube places adds in the videos and advertisers will pay roughly $0.18 per thousand views. Out of the total number of views, YouTube says only about 15% of the viewers watch the adds. At least 30 seconds must be watched. Some of the children channels make the most money because small children don't read, or skip adds.

How can you help your favorite youtubers?

Either pause your Adblock while on YouTube/certain channels, or you may white list your favorite channels. Allowing the adds enables the channel to earn off the advertisements. The down side to this is YouTube takes 56% of the ad revenue. Some channels add to this by inserting paid adds, reviews, etc. into the video itself but to do this they must have a large enough audience for the advertisers to sponsor them.

As an example, Pewdiepie who has over 57 million subscribers made approx 4 million last year before taxes and the YouTube cut. A childrens channel with somewhere around 1 million subscribers made 4.5 million. This is due the the lack of adblocking and skipping adds in this age/category range.

Yes it's hard to get money on YouTube but remember it's a continuous income for doing nothing if your videos continue to get views and grow.

It's hard work but just like Steemit it's a great platform to learn new things and make new friends.

Your payout is based on how the person interacts with the video as well as how much in demand the keywords are and how much advertisers are willing to pay for their target market to see it. Do they watch it all? Do they click in it? Do they read the ads in the side and underneath etc.

The country in which the viewer is is also very important. Richer countries with stronger currencies pay more.

Hope this helps potential Youtubers understand adsense a bit more. Youtubers normally make money from multiple income streams and not just YouTube adsense...

Well said!

yes indeed but the google adsense account is not easily availiable to every youtuber if iam not wrong ? and the payouts is low when it comes to countries like India dont you think its unfair your thouhgts?

Yes there are some things that are unfair that is for sure. I'm not sure if country changes, but you must have 10,000 views and in the past, 1000 subscribers to be able to put adds in. no i believe it strictly goes off the amount of views. It should be the same in any country, but maybe advertisers do not pay the same way or price in places like india? I think that would be a large part of it.
