Youtube's New Monetization Policy & How to Succeed on Youtube in 2018

in #youtube6 years ago

As most of you probably know Youtube has recently changed the monetization policy. As opposed to the old policy of 10,000 views to get monetized the bar has been raised, it's now 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time. In my opinion the 1,000 subscribers will probably be the most challenging part.

Not only is this raising the bar for new creators but even creators who are already monetized are going to have their monetization taken away in the comming weeks if they don't reach this new threshhold.

In today's live stream I wanted to talk a bit about how to speed up the process of monetization, talk about my journey on Youtube and offer some alternative options to monetizing your channel in the early days. We'll then open it up to a Q&A.

Hey @rulesforrebels. Thanks for video. Hope you get to that 100K Subs at YT . Glad your here , though;)

If YouTube wants to increase my TOS (time on site), they should stop freaking out my favorite youtubers! 6:07

If you did jump cuts, you could very easily cut that "car crash" example out... Real rebels keep rolling though! #OneTake

I don't want to spam the comment section, but what's the name of your other youtube channel?
