look at the line top of the chinese letters its not straight, its wavy which means its the plastic covering the info, the info is below. Troy has it hidden.

Why would an american US Army document use Chinese letters to cover things up? It would not but Troy would.
Well, for starters, I don't think those are Chinese letters. I think they are some sort of unicode character used by the government to redact or cover up information, but I could be wrong. And there is at least one other DD214 on the Internet that looks a lot like Troy's. You can see it here:
The other thing I noticed is that DD214 differ a lot. I mean, do a Google Images search and look for yourself. It's crazy how many different types of forms that are out there. There seems to be little uniformity for some reason.
