YouTube has created an opportunity for you. By denying revenue to scores of YouTube vloggers, thousands of vloggers will be looking for an alternative platform to post their videos and earn a little.

SteemIt enabled bloggers to post and earn a little. Since then we have had some very talented people create some wonderful apps built on top of the STEEM blockchain.
What if those same brilliant people took advantage of YouTube's trouble to offer vloggers a platform built on the STEEM blockchain where they could post their videos and earn a little.

WOuld be nice if Steemit did it first.
Kim Dotcom was talking about making a crypto for uploading movies about 8 months ago I lost track of that development so I'm not sure how that's going today.

Hope Steemit takes that spotlight too. I understand he was thinking to use Bitcoins but Steemit is a way better idea in many ways.
I would be ecstatic if SteemIt announced that in addition to hosting images the platform now allows the hosting of videos.
I think the SteemIt platform would be perfect for this too.
It would be good for certain videos and images. I have mentioned this before in long forgotten posts from the days before days when the earth turned at different speed.
I worry about things that are illegal or morally unacceptable to this community get put up and can't be removed. If there was a way to ensure this doesn't happen I'm all in. With image hosting there are ways (some really difficult but possible) to remove later if need be.
give it time it needs to flesh out and it's a lot of badwidth, images are one thing now imagine 60 images per second :| it's not so easy
