How YouTube Is A Bubble Just Like Bitcoin and how Steemit is A Solution (How this Could Benefit Witnesses)

in #youtube6 years ago (edited)

Recently YouTube A Centralized Social media platform Demonetized 80% to 90% of creators and that shows us some thing that it is a bubble. One reason the inflating bubble could have popped is because of Logan Paul's actions and how he carried himself in the Suicide forest but I am not here just to blame it on him. We can see how YouTube a centralized platform has hurt us and if 90% of creators if not more are demonetized it shows us how YouTube favors big creators but disregards small creators which is wrong.

D-tube is a solution to this problem and could prove to be a great source of income for small creators producing quality content and is building their own brands. I believe what we should do is we should stop putting money and time into YouTube because they always change the algorithm, demonetize content unfairly, and doesn't care about its small creators. We should use d-tube and to give you a reason why is if you look at some of the creators on        d-tube small creators with 10,000 followers can earn just as much as a channel on YouTube with 500,000. On     D-tube the thing I like is the size of your audience does not matter it is the people who have money that watch you.

How this eliminates the middle man or Advertisers well this is simple if the power to monetize is in the community and not the developers you eliminate the constant complaining about monetization issues's because it is decided by the community. Now decentralization does have it's downfalls and that is no one controls the type of content being promoted so this means content that is not safe for work can be shown which is not good. So in that way decentralization does have it's downfalls and you cant censor people which in a way leaves developers powerless to control their own website unless they use their power to down-vote that content.

Now who or what caused the bubble to pop? I could say it is Logan Paul because of his actions but I have to say it is the YouTube communities fault too. The reason I say that is if you look at the community there is a lot of teens and kids making a lot of money too much money. As stated by Express. Home of the Daily and  "Expert warns bitcoin value has "further to fall" before stabilizing Play Video The dramatic drop in the price of Bitcoin began after some countries announced their intention to introduce new laws surrounding cryptocurrencies. Up until now the online money has been unregulated, adding interest to digital currencies because of its freedom.South Korea introduced a raft of measures last month aimed at regulating Bitcoin and similar currencies such as Ripple and Ethereum. Like Bitcoin YouTube popped.

Final words

The good news of this is we now have new steemians joining the site and since the demonetization of the channels we have more people on d tube also. This good for witnesses because now they can develop new projects that can make more steemians time on this platform more comfortable.
