fiesta basketball league

This is me, @mrnightmare89 writing this time. If you read my introduction post. I made this account for the benifits of our brgy, especially the youth council who made an activities for the youth or teen agers benifits.

Our brgy. initiate always basketball league as an entertainment for all the citizens and for the youths to love sports. I can't recall how many years have past since the first basketball league. From what I remember, since I was a child we always have this kind of league.

Long ago this kind of event wasn't supported by the government. The youth council found a way to have prizes for each category and the expenses of it. The referees and the committee needs to be paid, their service is not free of course. The government didn't support it before, so they always make a solicitation to earn budget for this kind of event. But now os different, the government recognize it because maybe they notice that this is good for the youth. Instead of going out and be addicted of drugs, they will spend their time in sports.

The SK or youth council is in charge in the table, they are the one who will write the score, as the announcer and the record of each game. They are being paid but only for a small amount, the youth council has many things in mind to make. Though they have the support from the government, the money of the government won't be release easily. That's why the chairman of the youth are responsible to find food for the umpires. He still a student so if he doesn't have money, he go to the store and made some credit for the food.

This kind of event is just the beginning and there are more that will come after of the league. So there will be more to expect nextime.
