YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

In our society today, there is high rate of unemployed graduates who are able and are available to work but currently without work. Youth empowerment is a process whereby young people gain ability and moral authority to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people, youth empowerment is a gateway to self sufficiency or self employment by the youthin the society.
Youth i the society needs to be self employed because of the unemployment situation in the country. They should be exposed to certain skills (vocational or trade) in other to be self sufficient and and productive in their various choose profession. This will reduce the worries that arise due to employment which can be experienced by any school leaveror graduate.

         YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SKILLS 

1. Life coping skill: This is a skill that has to do with the ability to cope with a problem, task or different z situation. This is a skill to deal with situation successfully. For a potential youth to succeed in life. It is indispensable for him/her to acquire life coping skill in his or her daily function or activity to survive
   

2. Manipulation skill: This is a youth empowerment skillin which things or events, are manipulated to produce a particular results. It involves the ability to skillfully, header, italic control, directitalic, coordinate events and people in order to achive a desired and positive results
   

3. Intellectual skill: This is to do with the acquisition of abily to think and to understand idea and information. This skill enables the youth to prepare themselves for styding and thicking about complicated idea.

4. Communicative skill: Communication is a process that allows people to exchange information by several method, communications requires that all parties involved understand a common language that is exchange with each other. Therefore, communicative skill is tge skill that can be acquired to effectively communicate the knowledge and information that people need in a way that they understand and can apply to their job or profession.
   

5. Artistic skill: This is a skill of creativity and ability to arrange things in an attractive way. It is the skill of inventing and designing real and imaginary objects. This skill can be acquired by practicing drawing and painting. Also, students can acquire the artistic skill by paying attention in art and creative classes whenever they are being taught, writing, dancing, singing etc
