The pre-show sky. Beautiful evening. Clouds had threatened all day but not a drop.
For the thousands of us photographing fireworks last night a good shot is a 'lucky photo'. Although I am an amateur so more of a challenge. Timing is everything....and lighting and angle, etc.
I have a couple nice ones though.
Here in Oshkosh, WI we gather at Menominee Park. Thousands of people parked for blocks! People bring picnics, wagons, blow up beds, their own fireworks, and bug spray! All ages. Quite the tradition. A carnival in the background, Saw Dust Days.
