Sartrouville: he snatches a gold chain hanging on a woman's neck

An 18-year-old man was arrested Friday night in Sartrouville. A few minutes earlier, he had assaulted a woman in Turgot Street, in the station area, to tear off her gold chain.
Quickly alerted, the police went to the area where the individual could be spotted. A little later, a second victim called the police station to warn officials that she had been robbed of a collar.
An investigation was opened to find the second aggressor. The number of robberies of gold jewelry is increasing because, because of the hot weather, the neck of women is not covered. Thus, it is advisable not to expose jewels to the eyes of all when one goes out in the street.
