Disillusioned

The mail disillusionment of the younger generation is discovering that the ones meant to be looked up to for instruction, direction and correction are equally, sometimes sadly MORE in need of direction themselves.

There is a lesson to learn here...

The older ones were once younger, and had a lot of luggage passed on to them they weren't prepared to carry. They have struggled through for years on end, trying to grow with the weight of the past, at the same time trying to learn to be a good example to those behind. That is NOT an easy job: slipping and falling is therefore an inevitable occupational hazard.
This must be understood by the younger ones.
