It’s true! We’re doing Yoga Every Day in December! ⚡️ Will you join us? #YOGACHALLENGE !
Well almost every day.... The first 30 at least!
What started as a quick chat between speaking sessions at Steemfest and now it’s coming right around the corner! STARTING DEC 1ST! I, along with @acromott and @lifemovedbysteem will be hosting a 30 Day Yoga Challenge that anyone can join, and yes it's totally free!
Having done two of these challenges with DoYogaWithMe already this year, I can’t wait to finish off 2017 feeling awesome. How cool could it be to start January fresh without the guilt that forces its way in from the previous year, via half-hearted resolutions about diet and exercise?!
2017, I’m coming for you.
You certainly don't have to follow any specific program, but for this go, I’m going to be attempting the “intermediate” level challenge for the first time. I’ll be honest, this scares me. I’m certainly not an intermediate level Yogi (at least by my own assessment) but I’ve been practicing at the beginner/challenging beginner level for nearly 2 years now, so I think it’s time to start pushing myself.
So! December 1st! Mark your calendars! We’ll sharing updates and blogging under the tag #YOGACHALLENGE and I'll also be using #decemberdayleeoga if you'd like to follow along.
Also, we’ve set up a discord channel for anyone who’s participating and wants to chat with others going through the same program for support. If you just want to hang out and complain about how sore you are that’s totally fine too. <3
-> CLICK HERE FOR THE INVITE <-
In the interest of added support, I really want to encourage anyone who’s never tried yoga or is interested in starting, to try the beginner challenge that I completed this past September.
If you do decide to give it a shot I’ve included a breakdown of each class along with a link to my daily blog post for each day so you can both see what await’s you from someone who’s ACTUALLY done it, and as you’re stepping through you can see how I handled each day.
The point is to be able to step through with the feeling of an awesome community at your back. I know 30 days straight can feel daunting from a time and physicality perspective, but I really believe in how transformative a challenge like this can be, so jump in with us! Join us in a judgement-free zone and say hello in Discord!
<3 See you there!

Awesome! I can't wait! The challenge countdown begins......
I love your breakdowns of all the classes I will be making notes. I like the way you laid it out, very user friendly.
Lol girl your gif game is FIRE! & Thanks! Getting more excited as folks join up too! <3
I've come across this Steemit yoga challenge twice now, so I'm very intrigued! I just finished up a 30 day yoga challenge recently too (yoga with Adriene on Youtube), and have been liking the momentum of it, so I will look into this a bit more, and hopefully join you all :)
Awesome to hear you might be joining us @redrica! <3 And congrats on just finishing a 30 days! How did you like the Yoga with Adriene one?
I really like Adriene, she's a good narrator and she keeps it light with her humour. I enjoyed most of the "days". I sometimes wanted a bit more of a challenge, but that's really just "impatient me" talking.
I've been off exercise these few days, and can't wait to jump on the wagon again tomorrow when this yoga challenge starts :D
I know what you mean, I always have to remember that even though sometimes i CAN do more, I have to be able to sustain for 30 days... it's going to be my first time attempting intermediate so I'm a little nervous but we shall see!
Me too, but hopefully we'll rock that shit :D can't wait to see what my body can do next!
Hello & Cheers!! I'm a content detection and information bot. You are receiving this reply because a short link or links have been detected in your post/comment. The purpose of this message is to inform your readers and yourself about the use of and dangers of short links.
To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.
To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as
[steemit](https://steemit.com)
Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.
