I constantly remind myself this could be the last day here. This could be the last moment here. You might have to leave any moment. And it makes me so alive. So grateful for every time I can enjoy that ocean view, those islands in the distance, that sun coming up in the morning and shining brightly upon all of us. That gentle breeze refreshing in the heat. I constantly remind myself that this could be it. This person, maybe it’s the last time, no maybe it’s the first and the last time we ever see each other. Maybe this is it. And no, I’m not into rush. I’m more calm. I take the time to appreciate. I take the time to remind myself and others how blessed we are, how amazing the world we live in is. How you are my Buddha and my temple. How wonderful it is just to be. Just walk, just to touch the ground. To feel the water, to feel the sand. Like for the first time. Again and again. This is it, it’s here and there might not be next thing. Next chance to make it better, to love more, to be more kind to change something. Use your time wisely, it’s a precious gift.
The most beautiful life ever lived is here and now, created by you.
