My 10 Top Tips To Protect Your Mental Energy

  1. Sleep 7 hours every night⁣ (minimum)
  2. Win your morning - Whether you walk, lift, breath, meditate, read, journal, eat a healthy breakfast or practice gratitude
  3. Lift 3 x per week
  4. Eat 80% (min), ideally 90% high quality food (non processed) ⁣
  5. Eat less foods with added sugar ⁣⁣
  6. Protect your STATE - Whenever you feel anxious, stressed or feeling over worked 👉🏻 walk, run or perform any exercise (ideally you enjoy) that remotely elevates your heart rate...favour this as your stress coping tool over booze, sugar or scrolling on socials
    ⁣7. Stop trying to be perfect with your health & fitness - All or nothing doesn’t last & ‘perfect’ doesn’t exist...it’s a sign of insecurity, procrastination and will lead to continual self sabotage. Your ‘busy’ social and professional calendar isn’t going anywhere. You will be a lot happier focusing on continual progress than inconsistently being the ‘I’m on it’ guy

    . Walk 60 mins daily (whether it’s in one hit or 5 min increments across your day…do it and watch how good you feel)
    ⁣9. Connect and communicate with with people who inspire you with their energy and encourage you to do operate with the same
  7. Manage EXPECTATIONS (ties in with 7 and for me is the key to emotional consistency) - There are a lot of heavier social events coming up. You are deluded to think, these weeks you will make rapid progress. Lower the bar these weeks with the results you expect, in relation to the food/booze choices you are willing to choose. Make sure you put foot on the gas the weeks you have less going on. (yoga,meditation)
