After United Nations adopted India's proposal in 2014, International Yoga Day is being observed on June 21 every year.
For this year Yoga Day Event was held at Dehradun’s Forest Research Institute. Where Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in national yoga day and done yoga.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also address people at Dehradun and entire nation and explain the importance of yoga in our life and said that yoga is a gift from india to the entire world. He also said that yoga has the perfect solution for the health issues we are facing, either as individual or in our society.

Various Yoga Events are planned across the country, including Rajpath, where more then 15,000 people are taking part in the mass yoga session headed by Union Minister Harsh Vardhan.
