APPRECIATING THE ESSENCE OF THE SHOEMAN AND THE MYSTICAL YOGUI - APRECIANDO LA ESENCIAEL ZAPATERO Y EL YOGUI MÍSTICO

One day Nārada Muni, the famous pure devotee of the Lord who has the power to travel at will through the material and spiritual world, was on his way to see the Supreme Person face to face in His realm. Before leaving for the kingdom of God, he met a mystic yogi who was enduring severe austerities and penances for many years, trying to achieve perfection in mystical yoga. Seeing Nārada Muni, the yogi felt that he was in front of a great spiritual personality and asked Nārada who he was. Nārada replied, "I am Nārada Muni and I am on my way to see the Supreme Lord." The yogi offered his respects and then said to Nārada Muni, “Could you please do something for me? When you see the Lord, can you ask Him when will I be released from the cycle of birth and death? " Nārada Muni nodded and continued on his way.

The shoemaker was very excited to hear this and then said to Nārada Muni, “Would you do me a favor? Can you ask my Lord when will I be released from the cycle of birth and death? " Nārada consented and went on his way.

The yogi immediately asked Nārada, “Did you see the Supreme Lord? Did he tell you when I am going to be liberated from this miserable material world? I have been engaged in many penances and austerities. Obviously I deserve to be released very soon. After all, I am an advanced yogi, a great mystic ”. Nārada replied, "The Supreme Lord said that you are very fortunate and that you will be liberated after hundreds of births." The mystic yogi became very angry and said, “I cannot believe you. I am not even sure that you are really the great Nārada Muni. Tell me, if you did see the Supreme Lord, what was He doing when you visited him? " Nārada Muni said, "He was passing elephants through the eye of a needle." The yogi then laughed saying, “That is ridiculous. Now I am sure that you are simply a charlatan. You never saw the Supreme Lord. No one can put elephants through the eye of a needle. I should have realized earlier that you were not really Nārada Muni. ”

You will no longer have to take material births because you are his pure devotee. Your love for Him is unshakable.

The shoemaker, who lived under a large banyan tree, took a fruit from the On the floor, he opened it and said to Nārada Muni: “My dear Nārada, there are thousands of these small fruits that fall from this banyan tree, and in each one of those fruits you will find that there are hundreds and hundreds of small seeds. And in each of these little seeds the Supreme Lord has placed a gigantic banyan tree. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. He is truly wonderful. ”

This is called faith. It is not about believing blindly. Supporting the faith there are reasons. If God can put big trees inside many little seeds, is it so amazing that by means of his energy he keeps all the planetary systems floating in space?
