Stay patient and confident with the sustenance of Allah even though the price of necessities goes up

Abu Hazim Salamah bin Dinar rahimahullah was once asked:

"O Abu Hazim, do you know that the price (needs) is getting more expensive?"

So he answered:

“What worries you about that? Indeed (Allah) Who provides sustenance to us when prices are cheap, He is also Who will provide sustenance to us when prices are high." (Hilyah al-Auliya, By Abu Na'im, 3/239)

In response to this, Shaykh Abdurrazaq bin Abdul Mushin al-Abbad al-Badr hafizhahumallah said:

"Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has guaranteed the sustenance of His servants. So there is not a creeping animal (creature) on this earth but Allah who provides him with sustenance.

So everyone should leave their case to Ar-Razzaq (the One Who Gives Sustenance) and he (also keeps trying) to seek sustenance from Him.

Each of us must also understand that every soul will not die unless its ration of sustenance has been perfect. And he need not be sad unless his religion is violated."
