Thanks for bringing more attention to this. I have been wanting to write more about global wars, but did not yet find enough time to do proper research.

Back in the days in Vietnam at least the media was bringing more realistic and balanced images. Just google irak war now and all you see are sterile pictures of soldiers, helicopters and jets. It is disgusting.

    That could be. I recall Operation "Shock and Awe" that blew the shit out of Iraq... maybe that was some of the last and now it's all sanitized as you say.
