Yellow Vest Movement - Not an extremist or neo-fascist movement (but what do they want?)
I didn't really want to write more on this topic, but there seem to have been some confusion on why the French people started protesting, it's not an extremist or neo-fascist movement like some people seem to think.
It's just the normal people saying "enough is enough"...
Watch this video to get a better understanding of what they want, it's not just about having "fun" and fighting and making chaos in the streets...
I hope this clear things up a bit. I know some people want to put an anti-immigration spin on this protest but it's not that simple so please don't believe these articles, as you can see/hear in this video this is not the core issue of these protests, immigrants also pay taxes in France...

Well there is fake news everywhere now days, but usually mainstream media will show the worst of what the protestors are doing like trowing stones or spraying graffiti or burning something, and then say they don't have a "clear message" and that makes them look like a bunch of idiots, and then people think they actually deserve to be beaten and tear-gassed... 😟

Unfortunately I don't speak french so if it doesn't have subtitles it's pretty useless to me LoL.
Just translate english online to french, and then there is this new creepy/convenient function in youtube, at least for some videos, where you can get automatically translated subs...🤓

Howdy sir friendly-fenix! you nailed it, they aren't extremists but enough is enough and that's why it's a grass roots movement. As long as people don't go crazy and people don't get hurt then it's a beautiful thing to see because it is taking back their country, or at least the start of that process. So great job in keeping us up to date on this.
Yeah, I started to write about it because normal media was ignoring the normal people protesting... Now they are really successful I guess, the most successful grassroots campaign I have seen in a long time, makes me wonder, why is it so successful? Is Trump the mastermind behind all of this? Ha ha... Just joking, but it is a bit weird the whole thing, everybody getting together like this making positive change, never seen it before in my life time at least...

Well sir friendly-fenix I think it's as simple as what you said about people are saying enough is enough, regular working people/the working class, are fed up...that's exactly what happened in the U.S. when the Tea Party movement just sprang up from so many regular citizens who were sick and tired of things and alarmed at the socialism that was spreading.
Hey @janton, yeah I heard about that movement, Im okay with taxes as long as there is good public service....
