but this cannot occur at this time.
Yellowstone will only unleash
after another large tectonic event,
probably under Japan.
The blocks are locked such that the inland event must follow subsea events.
I don't think you have a clear idea of what happens when a supervolcano pops.
The Siberian Traps covered a million square miles with lava.
If Yellowstone goes off, N. America will be a graveyard from coast to coast. S. America will escape much of the devastation because the atmosphere doesn't mix well at the equator. Europe and Asia will be buried in ash, and billions of people will starve in the ice age that follows.
Not good.
I hope the explosion isn't like it was in the movie 2012.

Roger that. We moved here (Boise) after reading Joel Skousen's strategic relocation. Boise is definitely a bubble so we will see how it pans out. Very nice, clean, safe, affordable place to raise a family. It's where God led us really. Bloom where you get planted :). But Texas is GREAT!
