Locals said Syed Nadim Ullah, son of engineer Barkat Ullah, an engineer of Paikpara village of Chuadanga Alamdanga upazila, has been living in Australia for the last 18 years. There he was employed as an IT engineer in a government organization.
Engineer Nadeem's uncle, school teacher Lutfar Rahman told that engineer Nadeem Ullah returned to the country 6 months after hearing about his father's illness. The family said that Australian citizens who failed to travel abroad and abroad to save the sick father after returning home failed. Recently his father Engineer Barkat Ullah died.
Local UP Chairman Nurul Islam said, within a month, engineer Syed Nadim Ullah was supposed to return to Australia. In the meantime, he went to Alamdanga Upazila town on Wednesday for family work. When Nadim reached near the White Bridge in the city around 11pm, a white dressed 5/6 took him to a white microbus and quickly left the area.
