XYO will Help Amazon

I’m a huge fan of Amazon and one of the reasons I love the company so much is that it has probably the best customer service in the world. If there’s ever a problem, I can easily chat with a customer support agent and they’ll provide me with a solution. The best part is that the company puts the customer first so if a product is defective or failed to reach you, they give you a full refund on the basis of your word. While this service is amazing, a lot of people tend to abuse it.

An Example

My last roommate ordered a perfume last year and even though she got it, she made an argument that she never received it. Eventually, Amazon refunded her. She basically got a free perfume. My fear is that if people keep abusing this service, eventually the company will stop being so friendly to customers. The problem is that there isn’t a way to tell if a person is being honest. But that’s about to change soon.

XYO Network is a new company that is launching a real-time location oracle which companies can connect to and will then be able to use location as an API. A large part of Amazon’s logistics runs on automated systems and XYO will allow Amazon to track anything in real-time. This way Amazon would be able to continue to offer its amazing customer service while being able to tell when a customer is being honest. Amazon could actually up their customer service and technology as they could make it so that a payment is taken from the customer only once the package reaches the delivery address. This removes any chance that the company could take money from a customer if a package was delivered to the wrong address.

Another Example

I’m not the only one that loves Amazon because tens of millions of other people also buy from the company. This traffic of shoppers is absolutely crazy during holidays. I recall that during a holiday last year, Amazon launched a sale that drew in a lot of extra buyers. During this time of extra traffic, the company’s delivery processes were having a hard time updating information properly. Even though the order I placed was delivered, it was never updated on Amazon’s system and my account was eventually refunded as the system eventually recognized that my order had been misplaced.

XYO Network will ensure that such a situation does not take place ever again because an accurate real-time location data update would notify the company’s systems that a package had been delivered to my address. Amazing right? Even though Amazon has a lot of money and extremely advanced technology, I can see that XYO Network could still help them a lot. If Amazon with all its power can take so many benefits from Amazon, smaller companies would easily be getting benefits too.
