Porn on Steemit
Everything on the internet capable of delivering porn delivers porn. Whatever your beliefs about what should and shouldn't be on Steemit, does anyone else find it suspicious that Steemit doesn't have any porn on it? Isn't this a bad sign for its reliability as a "decentralized", ostensibly uncensorable forum?
Seriously - I have not invested into Steemit to upvote PORN - so do what the hell you want - With your own money - From me you will just get flags. I do not welcome the porn "industry". That shit belongs on the rest of the Internet.
I was thinking that on steemit there is no censorship. I'ts sad that you forcing you will on other people and flag them for nothing. A saw your posts like you're journalist. I'm not sure what kind of. And mark my word. Porn will come on steemit, you like it or not. And by the way. I don't like and support it either. Thanks for downvote, anyway.
@oldtimer One of Norways largest newspaper (Dagbladet) became too liberal and mixed news and porn-news until it died, today it is just a small website that nobody takes seriously which was awesome for the other newspapers who gained a lot of new subscribers.

We need to be more conservative in what we want this platform to become - specially now in the startup-year where everything is more or less on the same feed.
I respect people to do what they want - but not "in my face" as I´m browsing through the feeds.
Porn and Webcam is not in any way a sign of success just take a look at all the ugos over at myfreewebcam - let us not compete with them. It will cost us more then we will gain.

Porn will come for sure. If it's under own tag I don's see problem with that.
no. it just means that our community is small and doesnt yet have all the tools in place for those in the free market to see it as worthwhile.
Some people for instance flag it...but when we have our own sites that have their own rules for the content people view...you will see the amazing powers of a single ledger---because guess what---porn stars could still use the steem blockchain and pass out their OWN tokens to people who promote it. Could even create their own marketpegged coin. And guess what---they can back the value of it pretty easily compared to many. ;)
Trust me you will see....when steem grows up :)
I saw porn here several times. It wasn't upvoted much and was gone.
Maybe this corner of the internet isn't suitable for porn audiences and providers anyway? I'm sure there are easier ways to make money than by hoping people publicly approve of it on an open forum, since it's the sort of thing people prefer to keep somewhat discreet.
