XtraBytes (XBY) - Scam or mooning?

in #xtrabytes6 years ago (edited)

Since there is no evidence for the existence of the blockchain it can not be proven to be real but on the other site, there is no evidence for this being a scam at all. But you can read all facts on your own.

The main developer called "Borzalom" is an anonymous guy with no verifiable experience in blockchain development promising having invented a revolutionary technology but no one has seen the code yet. Its publication has been delayed several times for months now.

The whole team is more or less anonymous as you can see on the so called "team" site. The team itself has not seen the code. People working on this project are paid in XFUEL, a token created on the not existing blockchain out of thin air. The hype they make might be because of wanting to trade their worthless XFUEL for XBY at the moment. You can see on their discord that many developers try to get rid of their XFUEL. Because there is no exchange trading XFUEL their only chance is to trade their XFUEL with XBY from their "convinced" community members.

Imagine working for a blockchain company and getting paid in their cryptos, would you really sell them at the moment of being near zero like now? If you are confident you would hodl at all costs, would you not? The question left is, why do the developer trade their XFUEL?

There are constant updates and they make a lot of marketing but in fact if you take a closer look, you will never ever find anything related to the blockchain itself. These updates are about new clients, new website, new functions for the client and so on. But no matter how much you read or ask, there will never be an evidence for the existence of the blockchain. It is even more weird, they are tired of getting asked for it. They do not even care to have an evidence, they just believe though there is nothing. If you ask, you will be kicked and banned because of destroying the mood and spreading FUD. Many people experienced this before. You can meet those on Reddit i.e. In my opinion there are information necessary to spread FUD. Since there are no information verifiable we are talking about rumours. Questioning rumours can never be FUD.

Even the lawyers who are being said to be working with the developer on the patent are anonymous and therefore can not verify this project.

It is said to be a community coin but in fact the patent will make a fork impossible and therefor this is not going to be controllable by the community.

These were the facts and many questions never got an answer so far. Just imagine there is working on a patent going on, the law firm they work with must be a big one since they want an international patent. A big law firm would have tons of secretaries in their office. I see no problem in publishing a small paper confirming that XtraBytes Ltd. is working together with them on a patent. This would not contain any information related to the technology but there would be an instant evidence that it is being worked on it. The price and confidence would rise instantly. But this is just ignored.

The team itself says they have not seen anything of the code. Only one member is said to have seen parts of them. So we have a bunch of people working for them and getting paid in XFUEL though they have no idea if the blockchain technology exists for many months now? Either they are extremely gullible or they know that the code does not exist. At least the guy who says that he invented it has absolutely no verifiable code published yet. By the way, this guy is not even talking to the community, he just diappeared months ago.

Why is it I create this page? I have been fooled by them. When I invested it was said the mainnet release is just around the corner and no one was talking about a patent.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Even the lawyers who are being said to be working with the developer on the patent are anonymous and therefor can not verify this project.
It should be therefore instead of therefor.
