Ripple locking up billions of dollars of XRP
For those of you watching closely trade volumes and the price of ripple have soared recently, making a few bagholders out there wealthy (well done to you), and the rest of us nervous just when to cash out - you know just incase.
Well in a recent tweet from the Ripple account claiming a 'voluntary freeze of their own assets'. With a direct link to a story on their website Ripple claims they will removing an uncertainty around value by placing some 55 billion XRP (88% of funds) said to be worth some $14bn into an secured escrow account.
Now I only hold a few, but like many others no doubt we'll watch on with with interest.
