XRP - Glad I got in early

in #xrp7 years ago

Around February of 2016 I decided to stop playing video games (pain in the ass to launch) and just used my PS4.  But I had an RX 480 and nothing to do with it and started mining LTC (Litecoin.)  It was good, making nice money and I got hooked.

I started buying more GPU's and started mining ETH at about 121 MHS while my 480 was churning away at LTC.

Somebody told me to try Nicehash miner which was cool since I got paid in BTC (Bitcoin,) but I only got paid in BTC.  It was good as long as BTC was rising.

On October 31 I opened my Poloniex account and transferred LTC, ETH and ETC to the exchange.  I had about $200 in extra BTC and decided to make loans to people on Polo.  It was great!  I was getting about $0.26 - $0.63 cents a day in interest which no bank would ever pay me.

I took that interest income and purchased what I call pink slip coins i.e. Steem, StorJcoin and XRP (Ripple.)

I love mining, but that last coin XRP you can't mine you have to buy.  So I bought 10,000 coins which was about $3.48 dollars at the time, this was from the interest on loans of Bitcoin.

That purchase of .00000034 (BTC) or $0.0006252 per XRP coin, is now at .00019079 ($0.35) or $3500.00  .  Not a bad little investment.

I would have loved to be able to mine.

Buy some if you can why it's still low, or get other cheap coins.  It's a gamble, so only buy what you can afford to lose but it sure does pay off.
