So an interesting thing about XRP is the burn rate.

Say, XRP is worth $2 and you want to send $2000 as a remittance , you'll burn 2000XRP.

Then if XRP is worth $2000 and you still want to send $2000 as a remittance, you'll burn 1XRP.

The higher the value the less the amount of XRP burned in the system thus supporting and being able to handle VAST amounts of money. 

Whoever complains that XRP is a scam coin or "not a true Cryptocurrency" (whatever that means) hasn't looked at XRP as a business model. It is DESIGNED for high volume transfers. It is designed to absorb value as each factor is burned. It is designed by the best minds in the business to be the dominating Fintech company in the world. 

If anyone tells you anything contrary, they are missing the plot.
