What It Takes To Be In The Top 1% Of XRP Holders

If you are in the XRP cult, then you obviously know that XRP bagholders will eventually join the richest 1% of people worldwide. Now, what if you want to be ultra-rich, the 1% of the 1%. Well, to join the top 1% of all XRP accounts you must hold at least 73,733 XRP. Really, I'm kind of surprised at how do-able that sounds. I mean, why would you put a down-payment on a house when you could become a Ripple whale.

Keeping in mind that these numbers do not include the XRP that Ripple is holding in ESCROW accounts, 73.39% of the available XRP are owned by the top 100 accounts. These are probably mostly accounts held by some of Ripple's partners, or just accounts that Ripple has for more immediate dealings so as to not need to touch the XRP in ESCROW but still, imagine the worth of one of these accounts if XRP eventually hits a predictable $28 a pop. You could pay transaction fees on Ripple's blockchain for an entire country. So here's to hoping that the 0.01% of accounts that hold 17,771,224 XRP or greater are really world superpowers.
