Xiaomi Mi 5x with dual camera setup launched in China

Xiaomi has just announced their latest smartphone ‘Xiaomi Mi 5X’ at the event that held in Chine. Xiaomi had been teasing about this smartphone from last few days. There has been official press shots images as well as video teaser of this phone on Mi China official website. The specifications of Mi 5X were also leaked during the certification of the phone on FCC Certification website. Today at launch event, everything unfolded officially by Chinese Company.
alking about the specifications, It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with unibody metal designed round edges. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.0). The storage be further expandable upto 128GB using MicriSD Card. In optics department, it has a 12-megapixel dual setup of rear camera. One with wide-angle lens, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and secondary one is with telephoto lens, 1.0 μm pixel size, f/2.6 aperture, PDAF. At back, it has 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video callings.
he Xiaomi Mi 5X comes with MIUI 8 based Android 7.1.1 and company promises it will get MIUI 9 soon and Android O update in near future. For connectivity, it comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, Infrared sensor, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack. The phone comes with 3080mAh battery which should easily last a day. As usual, there is a circular fingerprint sensor located at back like most of the Xiaomi’s smartphones.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X comes in Gold, Black and Rose Gold colors and is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 222 / Rs. 14284 approx.) The phone will go on sale in China from August 1st.
