I did not heard this word a few days before, but for research work I have learnd a little on it.

So from my understanding Xenocurrency is a money that exchanges outside of its residential origine. The name gets from the Greek prefix "xeno," which means remote or unusual. In a simple way Xenocurrency means non-domestic currency.

You can call Xenocurrency to the currency your country is holding other than its own. Like if the Japanese yen (JPY) saved into an U.S bank, it would called Xeno.

Or if I could clear your idea this way that- the U.S. Dollar (USD) is regularly utilized as xenocurrency in Mexico, particularly for huge exchanges in land and different business exercises. Or in border areas of India, indian rupee is used as Xeno in Pakistan or Bhutan.

As far I can rember the term first used in 1974 to refare the loan or deposit of a country in another country in its own currency.

But from my opinion Xenocurrency can be a bit risky, since they are confounded by numerous variables, including cash changes and transformation dangers.

In todays business world the term hardly used and I did not even learn this specific word in the university. May be its because of the negative implication of "Xeno." Coz there is another common word exist-Xenophobia- for example, which means unreasonable fear of outsiders/forigners.

Government may impose some regulation on Xenocurrency if needed in crisis situation. Like How much travelers can take Xeno to the other country to hold the market stable.
