Let's Play XCOM Long War 2 - Episode 16 - Troop Column

This is a big one! With the successful discovery of the Advent network tower in New India, the pressure is on to liberate the region. Advent have not taken much notice of XCOM yet, but they will start to be taking us seriously now and moving forces here. As our best chance of liberating a region for humanity, we need to weaken Advent here before it becomes a stronghold, and our chance at liberation is lost. So we're ambushing a troop column moving in, and we're not wasting time waiting for it to be at its most vulnerable.

This is the first time we're dealing with relatively heavy forces in a battle. It's also a pretty long one, I suggest skipping over some of it (it's annotated) for that reason. I take my time with these fights because there is no forgiveness in XCOM Long War.
